We switched to SCG and after a few months we had a broadband outage…my colleague said to me “there’s no point in reporting the problem as we can never get hold of someone”, to which I suggested that it would be worth calling SCG. My colleague was pleasantly shocked that she got through to someone within a few seconds! She was then called back at the time that had been promised to her and received a follow up call to check if all was well! Well worth switching for the customer support alone, however we are also pleased to have reduced our costs.

We have worked with SCG and the SCG Communications team for the past 2 years for fixed line, mobile and leased line requirements for our UK headquarters. Our previous supplier had mismanaged our account, and after a thorough review we identified considerable cost reductions and a promise of far better account management and customer service.
Due to the nature of our business we need our suppliers to be sensitive to our needs and quick to respond. We have developed a great relationship with the back office staff at SCG and the SCG Consulting team. We can contact our account management team within a few rings at any time, and emails are always responded to within a few hours.
We have also benefited commercially, and the promised cost reductions have been fully realised for both fixed line and mobile services, with an easy to use unified billing platform. O2 has always been our preferred network due to the international coverage and reliability it provides. SCG are their top partner in the UK and it has proven a great decision to work with them.

Not being able to provide service-users with reliable internet connectivity means they can’t access many of the online services they need to, or manage many of the things that are now only accessible online.
We originally considered Cisco Meraki but this proved to be too expensive and we could not justify the spend especially being a charity.
SCG (our current provider of mobiles and telephony) provided a far more competitive solution meaning we could get all our accommodation services completed within budget.
The solution involved using a variety of Unifi access points and switches to provide reliable coverage in all our residential buildings, deploying a guest network as well as a corporate network for staff.
The project management from the team at SCG was on point with regular update meetings and communications throughout the lifecycle of the project. The feedback from staff at various accommodation services has been really positive and the reduction of complaints of bad Wi-Fi a real blessing for our IT Helpdesk.
We also now have visibility of our Wi-Fi network through the cloud portal and can spot issues whereas before we had no clue.
